Help Ordering Online

  • Find the products you want using one of the search options.
  • Click the Add to Cart button to add desired items to your shopping cart.
  • When you have everything you want, click Checkout, complete the order forms, and submit the order.

Find the Products You Want

The first step in ordering is finding the products you want and adding them to your shopping cart.  Our site offers a wide range of options for searching and browsing our products.  You can also view our help with finding products page.

Shopping Cart

Clicking an Add to Cart icon will add the selected item to the shopping cart.  The cart and its contents will then be displayed. Use the Adjust Quantity buttons to change the quantity of any item already in the cart, or the Remove button to remove an item from the cart.

Catalog or Promo Codes

The Enter Catalog or Promo Code field will appear below the Shopping Cart.  Enter the catalog code from the back of your catalog, or the promotional code from one of our ads.  If you have neither, simply ignore the field.  A code need only be entered once.

Any current offers associated with your code will be displayed.  If any items in your cart are eligible for such an offer, the appropriate discounts will be applied and displayed in the cart.  Note: We allow only one catalog or promotional offer per order.

Checkout

Once your desired items are in the shopping cart, click Checkout to proceed to the checkout pages.

Entering Checkout—Selecting the Correct Payment Method

U.S. and Canadian schools, businesses, or government agencies have the option of paying by credit card or placing a purchase order.  Personal orders and other international orders require prepayment by credit card—we will not bill individuals or overseas businesses.

Personal Credit Card:

Select this option when using a credit card paid for with personal funds. Note that we will ship the order anywhere you specify, but the billing address you provide on the order should be the same address to which the credit card bill is mailed.  This is almost always a home address or PO Box.

School/Business Card:

Select this option when using a credit card paid for by a school, business, or government agency.

Purchase Order:

Select this option to place a purchase order.  Only a U.S. or Canadian school, business, or government agency may place a purchase order.  We will mail an invoice to the billing address you provide, terms net 30 days. We invoice in US dollars only.  A valid purchase order number is required.

Checkout Step 1

Customers placing personal credit card orders are prompted for their LinguiLoot™ account number.  LinguiLoot™ calculations will display on the next page of Checkout.

LinguiLoot™ is a buyer's rewards program for customers placing personal orders.  If you are not already a LinguiLoot™ member, click here for more information.  Membership is entirely optional; simply leave the LinguiLoot™ number field blank if you do not wish to participate in the program.

All customers now provide their billing address information and proceed to the "Shipping address same as billing?" prompt.  The default answer is Yes, so if they are the same, click Continue to Next Step.  If the shipping address is different than the billing address, click No and the shipping address fields will appear.  Please be sure to indicate where prompted if the address is a residence or not.  Complete the shipping address fields then click Continue to Next Step.

As UPS is our preferred carrier for the US and USPS is our preferred carrier for International orders please provide a physical address for shipping.  We cannot ship UPS to a post office box.  APO/FPO customers may ship to a post office box if they wish.  International customers will have the option of selecting USPS Priority International or USPS Express International.

Checkout Step 2

LinguiLoot™ members see their current LinguiLoot™ balance, if any, and are prompted to enter any amount of LinguiLoot™ credit they wish to apply to their order.  Enter zero if none is to be applied.  Click Apply LinguiLoot™ and any credits applied will be subtracted from your order.

Credit card customers provide their card numbers and details in Step 2.  Purchase order customers provide their purchase order number.  All customers will see an optional field to write any special instructions or comments on their order.

Click Continue to Next Step.

Checkout Step 3

Step 3 provides a summary of all order details for review prior to submitting the order.  To edit any of the information provided, click the yellow Change Information button at lower left to return to Steps 1 or 2.

When you are ready to submit the order, use the Click to Place Order button in the lower right of the Step 3 page.

Your Order Has Been Sent

Your order is now complete and has been transmitted to LinguiSystems.  A printer-friendly order summary is displayed, including the order number.  You may wish to print this page for your records.

Assuming you have provided a valid e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement of the order within a few minutes.  This e-mail will again summarize the order and include your order number.

When orders actually ship we send another e-mail confirming shipment.  Assuming there are no difficulties with your order information, orders received before 4:00 PM CST will ship the same day.  Orders received after hours, or on weekends or holidays will ship the next business day.  If we do have a question about your order we will contact you prior to shipment, usually by e-mail.

If you have spam-filtering software, we recommend setting it to allow e-mail from service@linguisystems.com to ensure our order correspondence reaches you.
